Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!! What a fun day I had. Daddy had the day off so he got me ready for the day and put on my pumpkin outfit and surprised my mommy at work. My mommy was dressed up as a witch and she took me to the costume contest that her school was having during lunch. Later that night daddy put his costume on and got me ready for trick or treating. Mommy the witch, Daddy the classic golfer, Flower dressed as a skunk and I a dalmatian went to Tio Phillipp's and Tia Gabby's to go trick or treating with Carlitos and Lorelei. Mommy took me to the houses saying "trick or treat" and they would give me candy. It really wore me out because by the 10th house or so, I was so tired that I fell asleep. My mommy said that flower was a hit in her skunk outfit. I need to start planning for next year's costume.

October 15th, 5 months, Birthdays, Dodger Blues....

Today I am 5 months old. My daddy said that there are alot of things going on today and I asked him "What"
  1. Today is Abuelito's Birthday. Happy Birthday Abuelito, Feliz Cumpleanos!!!!
  2. Today 20 years ago today, my daddy with my Tias, and my Abuelitos went to visit my Tia Celi at Stanford University. As you all may know, Stanford is in the Bay Area and we happen to be there during Game 1 of the 1988 World Series. During the game, they sang "Happy Birthday" to abuelito and right after he blew out his candles, they watched the last inning of Game 1 of the World Series. Daddy said some guy named Kirk Gibson "hobbled" to the plate for one last chance for the Dodgers and hit a "Walk off Home Run" that eventually guided them to win the World Series. My dad remembers that day as if it were yesterday, watching my Abuelito run around my Tia Celi's apartment.
  3. My daddy is going to Game 5 of the NLCS game at Dodger Stadium today. He's hoping for some magic like what happened 20 years ago because the Blue Crew are down 3 games to 1.

Update:
My daddy came home sad from the game. He said he's starting to sound like the old Brooklyn Dodger fans saying "Wait till next year".

On a happier note, Halloween is only a few days away and my Mommy said my Grandmama bought me a costume before I was even born. So for my first Halloween I will be a Dalmation. Flower got a costume too. She's going to be a skunk. My Mommy and Daddy said that's "ironic", whatever that means. But we're going to go trick or treating... YEAH!!!

"It's October and the Dodgers are Playing Baseball"

My Mommy and Daddy are very excited today. I asked them why and my daddy said, "It's October and the Dodgers are playing baseball." Daddy is a little worried because they're playing the Cubs, who had the best record in the National League. Daddy has tickets and he's taking Abuelito to Game 3 at Dodger Stadium and if needed, Mommy and Daddy are going to Game 4. Go Dodgers!!!!!

4 months, Irish football and Dodger playoff push

Things started off differently in September. Mommy and Daddy started this new routine where I sleep in a new room with a bigger bed. Mommy said that I'm too big for the small bed next to her bed so I have to go to my "crib" I think she called it. It's a lot quieter in that room because the big snoring bear does not sleep there. No not Flower, my daddy is the big snoring bear. And if that wasn't enough change, Mommy has to go back to work and deal with "those kids". So we leave Flower at home to sleep while I go to Grandpapa's house while Mommy and Daddy go to work. I don't mind the new routine because I love going to Grandpapa's house, he spoils me and gives me my bottle and we watch movies with no color. I think we need to buy him a a TV that works. He complains that his house is being taken over by a child with all of my cool stuff, but I think he's just playing around.

Well as you know college football season has started and the Irish are looking good so far. We're planning our Saturdays accordingly so we make sure we're close to a TV to watch the Irish play. Even more exciting, the Dodgers are looking good with that new guy Manny Ramirez. My daddy says he's going to get us to the playoffs. I sure hope so, because he talks about winning some game called the "World Series" Let's keep our fingers crossed and wear your Dodger Blue!!!

ALOHA

Well for the last month my mommy and daddy have been talking about taking a plane to some island named "Maui". They say the trip was already planned out before I was even born... So mommy made sure my bag was packed with everything you would need for a 3 month old, especially sunblock. So we got on this car with wings called an an "airplane" and we got there right away, well at least I think it was a short trip. I slept most of the way but my daddy told me it took 5 hours. We had lots of fun in the warm waters of the Pacific, I went to my first Luau and fell asleep with all the drums banging, and saw some pretty cool sites around the island. My mommy and daddy said we'll be back in a couple of years because we have a timeshare and one day it will be mine!!! YEAH! Here are some pictures of my trip. Hope you enjoy them. Aloha!!

2 Months and Counting

I'm officially 3 months old today. I've been enjoying my summer so far. Daddy went back to work and mommy and I have been hanging out with Flower. These are pictures taken in an pretty dress given to me from my Tia Debbie and Tio Ray. I'm beginning to smile as you can tell from my pictures. My mommy figured out that when I clap my hands and it makes me smile. Next month we're going to some place called Maui. I hope it's not too far. See you soon!!!
